San Francisco!

That's right, folks, on Friday, October 26th, around 5pm we rolled onto the Golden Gate bridge and into San Francisco, ending the first leg of our adventure. There are many tales to be told, including how we were offered and accepted being driven for approximately 200 miles of the journey, and hopefully that will follow soon. As for now, we're looking forward to spending a couple of days off our bicycles, and exploring this city!

Congratulations Team! Everyone was talking about you at church today. Megan was giving us updates. So glad to hear you made it all the way to SF. May the Lord bless you and renew your strenght as you prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Thanks for the comments guys! We walked all around the city yesterday and got to have lunch/dinner at my favorite Chinese restaurant. Today, we churched at China beech, and frolicked in the waves at Ocean beach, tossed the frisbee around and biked the length of Golden Gate Park home. We've had an amazing couple of leisuring days, it's been fantastic. Thank you so much for your prayers and for remembering us. We miss you all already.
Love!

Do you guys carry a tube of super glue? You can use that to close small cuts... Congrats on making it SF.

Congrats you guys!!! Hope you have a great Halloween in SF, I'm sure there are lots of fun things to do there. Now how long until you take off for South America?

To any family or friends who might critique the 200 mile punt in schedule, I say -- if Boeing can slip 6 months and Airbus 2 years, then our young brethren are entitled to a modest adjustment to their estimated coastal run. Remember, reality is what happens while you're making other plans. The key is to adapt, leverage goodwill, and cross the finish line, as our friends have done, and most significantly.... not miss that flight to Santiago !! Buena suerte como siempre.

I can't wait to read about your adventures in the other hemisphere.
